Maritte “Marty” Go is a Filipina American filmmaker who directed BLACK AS NIGHT for Blumhouse and Amazon as part of the “Welcome to Blumhouse” series. She was nominated for an NAACP Directing Award for the film.

She also recently finished directing an adaptation of Ann Rule’s A ROSE FOR HER GRAVE. Marty’s debut feature film was a coming-of-age action thriller called RISE that was produced by Defiant. She also directed a segment in the anthology horror PHOBIAS, produced by Radio Silence and Defiant, which Vertical Entertainment picked up for distribution.

Additionally, her short film REMITTANCE was picked up for distribution by HBO, after the film won the HBO Visionary award. Marty started her career as a line producer, where she produced FLOWER and SLEIGHT, among many others.
